"There is a proverb, 'As you have made your bed, so you must lie on it,' which is a lie. If I have made my bed uncomfortable, please God I will make it again."

Life, Precious from the Very Beginning
Dear friends,
It's been a few weeks since I posted anything on this blog. I've been busy getting ready for the Books & Beyond literature seminar, where I am giving two workshops tomorrow.
But it is January 22, a day when many pause to reflect on the sanctity of life on the anniversary of the tragic Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision which paved the way for millions of abortions in our country.
I can't stay silent today.
A couple of years ago, a home school mom named Karen wrote a very moving blog post about her own crisis pregnancy. She also wrote a post called "Hands that shed innocent blood: one of the things I want my children to hate."
However, I have to say that my favorite pro-life blog post of hers is the video testimony of Gianna Jessen sharing how she survived a saline abortion -- as the baby!
Life is precious.
Think about it.
