Musée d'Art et d'Histoire in Geneve (Europe #7)

 Maitre de la predelle

Welcome back to my Europe 2016 photo series.

Such a lovely Sunday in Geneve worshiping at the Evangelical Lutheran Church and gazing at the beauty of Saint-Pierre Cathedral. Then it was time for a late afternoon visit to Musée d'Art et d'Histoire, the largest art museum in Geneve. I wish I'd had more time here!

Joanna called me while I was in the history section to say she was done with her conference for the day, and we agreed to meet near the lake. We debated going on the last lake cruise of the season, but it was kind of foggy, so we decided to get back in time to meet friends for dinner in Versoix. We were both so tired anyway!

Sunday was our last full day in Geneve. We did take a train and bus to find my wallet on Monday morning. It wasn't at the first police station, but they directed us to another one not too far away. The lady there was about to give up looking for it, but another employee who spoke English better came along and they somehow managed to locate it. Phew! So nice to have my debit card and license back for the rest of the trip. We hustled over to the Hertz rental shop a few blocks away, picked up our car, drove back to the hotel for our luggage, and headed on up to Lauterbrunnen. Stay tuned for pictures of the Swiss Alps!
